Illustrated with 12 b/w engraved plates spread across the two volumes. The plates were designed by Richard Westall, Queen Victoria's drawing master, and engraved various engravers. These plates are dated 1816. Uniform binding. Recased preserving original spines. Four raised ribs, five compartments. Gilt lettering and decoration to both spines. Gilt heads. Marbled endpapers. Both volumes lightly foxed throughout (more noticeable in the prelims and plates). Pages generally clean and bright. Bindings strong and square. Boards and spines moderately shelf worn.
