[6], 25, [43] pp. Illustrated with 42 b/w full-page plates and a b/w decorative title page. Green edgestain. Decorated endpapers. Previous ownership inscription on the title page. Pages are bright and generally clean with some marginalia in graphite and a small water droplet stain on the fore edge (appears on roughly 1/3 of the pages). Binding is square but starting to fray. Boards and spine are rubbed, worn, bumped, frayed, and soiled. Laid in the back of this copy are four leaves excised from a copy of "The English Illustrated Magazine. 2 (1884)" pg. 81-88 (appears to be a reprint) containing the poem "Thoughts-in-a-Hammock" written and illustrated by Crane.
