Illustrated endpapers. Pages bright and clean except for the index which is lightly soiled. Binding strong and square. Boards and spine are worn along the edges with lightly bumped corners. The cloth on the upper fore edge corner of the lower board has been frayed (dragged?) exposing the board. The d/j is chipped at the crown and tail, worn along the edges, and lightly rubbed.
