Taken from Chatelain's "Atlas Historique Volume VI" (originally published in 1920). The map shows the Great Lakes and south Hudson's Bay regions and depicts settlements, forts, trading posts, missions, and friendly/hostile Native American villages. Around the map are a series of panels listing the flora and fauna of the regions, and the Native tribes of different areas with a list of trade goods popular among them. Very good. Item #67689
