Text taken from the 1844 edition of Cary's "The Vision; or Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise of Dante Alighieri." 2008 second printing. Title, author, illustrator, and printer's device stamped in gilt on spine. Blue topstain. Blue decorative endpapers. Glue residue on the front flyleaf. Pages clean and bright. Binding strong and square. Slight mark on the spine. Slipcase square and lightly shelf worn. A very good copy overall.
