Number 562 out of a limited print run of 750 copies. Signed and numbered by the illustrator on the edition page. Uniform binding. Vellum label with gilt title, illustrator, and publisher pasted on the spines. Gilt volume number stamped on the tail. Beveled boards. Blind tooled ornament on the front board. Gilt heads. Deckled fore edge and foot. Both volumes in similar condition: slight age toning, mostly clean and unmarked, illustrations bright, binding strong and square. Boards have been rubbed, with some of the gilt on the label of volume I having been rubbed off, and worn along the edges. Volume I has a small 1 cm circular discoloured mark on the back board. Overall a lovely, if heavy, set of Shakespeare's plays in good condition. Good. Item #67458
