Five compartment spine with four raised ribs. Dark brown leather label with gilt short title pasted into compartment two, the rest contain a repeating gilt ornament. Head darkened. Crossed out bookplate on front pastedown ( W. Beane Freeman, Esq.). Text block is clean, slightly age toned, and square with a strong binding. The front and back hinges are cracked at the top and bottom but the boards are still attached. Corners are lightly bumped. Edges worn, and the spine is creased. Overall good condition. Good.
