Illustrated with 16 full colour, full-page, tipped-in plate illustrations (including frontispiece) by Harrison Fisher, with an additional 53 line drawings by Fisher in brown in the text. Tipped in illustration on the front board with title and illustrated stamped in gilt on top of it. Title, illustrator, and publisher stamped in gilt on spine. Blind tooled ornament of Fisher's signature on the back board. Gilt head. Illustrate endpapers. Thick paper stock. Text block is slightly age toned with some mild foxing around the plates. Images are clean and bright; all 16 plates are accounted for. Binding is strong and square. The spine and boards are worn, rubbed, and mildly soiled. Corners are bumped and frayed.
