Translated from the original Italian by Grace Lovat Fraser. Number 160 out of a limited print run of 260 copies. Title, author, and line drawing of a mask stamped in gilt on the front board. Title, author, publisher stamped in gilt on spine. Gilt head. Deckled fore edge. Bookplate on the front pastedown and ownership inscription on the front flyleaf. Text block is slightly age browned around the edges, mostly clean save for a few small stains on the title page, and square with a strong binding. Spine and boards have minor shelf wear and rubbing. Spine has been sunned and darkened. Lightly bumped corner. A very good copy overall. Very good. Item #67307
