Volume I: xxii + 525 + [1] pp, volume II: viii + 431 pp. Illustrated with a combined total of 131 (38 and 93) b/w drawings and diagrams. Full board Egyptian motif blind stamped on front. Title, volume, and Egyptian motif stamped in gilt on spine. Deckled fore edge and foot. Text blocks of both volumes are predominately clean, unmarked and square with a strong binding, with only a minimal amount of browning/foxing. The boards and spines are shelfworn along their edges, slightly bumped in the corners, rubbed, and faded along the heads and on the back boards. The spines of both volumes have been sunned brown. Enclosed tear in the front hinge of volume 1. Very good. Item #67141
