On the front board and spine: gilt stamped title and black stamped ornaments and rules. On the back board: blind stamped ornament and rules. Missing front flyleaf and advertisement leaf. Pages slightly browned around the edges, and have occasional brown marks. Slight lean forward in text block. Binding is strong but there are some cracks present in the gutters. Boards are stained (mostly back), corners are bumped and frayed, edges are worn, and the spine is wavey and worn at the top and bottom. This copy includes a sales receipt from Albert Britnell Book Shop (Toronto) for 15 cents. A functional copy suitable for leisure reading or research. Fair. Item #67110
