[276] pp. Illustrated copiously with b/w and full colour plate photographs, almost all of which are full page. Includes one fold-out spread (pg. 143), and three sections printed on newsprint: "Cezanne is a Scent" 49-52, "Sabbioneta" 77-84, and "Beethoven" 105-112. Title stamped in white on spine. Bump to the upper right corner, some bleed through from the pink endpaper onto the title page, and some sunning to the spine. Generally the book is clean, unmarked, and square with a strong binding. The slipcase (black card) is rubbed, bumped on the corners, shelfworn on the head/foot, and has a closed tear on the bottom right corner. Still square and functional. Very good. Item #67079
