Illustrated with 64 b/w full page plate photographs printed on semi-gloss paper, b/w illustrations, and a full colour illustrated title page. Title stamped in silver on spine. Illustration of a cherub stamped in silver on front board. Stamped twice with an embossing ownership stamp: once on the title page, and once on page 99. Text block is clean, but starting to yellow at the edges, with the plate photographs showing the most change. Binding is strong and square. Boards and spine faded, with brown staining along the head, foot, and spine. Head and foot shelfworn. Bump to base of spine. Dustjacket (illustrated paper) chipped along the head, the foot, at the top of the spine, at the bottom of the spine, and the corners. Small section missing along the head of the back board and top of spine. Hinges creased, and edges worn. Wrapped in protective mylar. Good. / Fair. Item #67038
