Paris: Librairie Geographique De Aug. Grosselin, 1850. Unbound. Map of Asia from "Atlas de Geographie Ancienne, du Moyen Age, et Moderne" (Paris, 1850). The map measures approx. 13" x 18" inches, including margins, and has a centrefold. Details are hand-coloured. Originally made by Delamarche in 1843, it was part of the compilation for the Atlas of 1850. Minor chip and a couple of closed tears at head of centrefold, slightly affecting map; closed tear to centefold, about halfway down, affecting map. Delamarche was a famous 19th century French cartographer and naval engineer. Text in French. Good. Item #26732
