Paris: Librairie Geographique De Aug. Grosselin, 1850. Unbound. Map of ancient Greece and her colonies from "Atlas de Geographie Ancienne, du Moyen Age, et Moderne" (Paris, 1850). The map measures approx. 13" x 18" inches, including margins, and has a centrefold. Details are hand-coloured. Originally made by Delamarche in 1845, it was part of the compilation for the Atlas of 1850. A couple of small closed edge-tears to lower margin, not affecting map. Delamarche was a famous 19th century French cartographer and naval engineer. Text in French. Near Fine. Item #26728
