Eastburn, City Printer, 1852. 1st Edition. 288 pp. Full green leather with lush ornamentation in gilt, ruled in gilt, bearing sigullum of the City of Boston, front and rear, gilt; spine lettering gilt, with coffers decorated and ruled in gilt; all edges gilt. One large folding map at rear. 1 3/4" piece missing from head of spine, affecting spine title; hinges started but firm; and extremities rubbed. Interior shows very faint damp stain throughout, but, except for a couple of prelims and rear pages, is otherwise remarkably bright and almost fresh. Good. Item #15395
