Half-cloth and paper boards, with paper spine label; gilt-stamped crown, royal monogram (QM), and date (1924) on front cover; edges untrimmed. Illustrated with a total of 116 plates of which 32 are in colour. Front hinge of volume 1 started, but firm, and top corners slightly rubbed; volume 2 slightly rubbed on bottom corners; dj spines a little dull and lightly foxed; corner tears; and some wear to spine tips of volume 1; but both volumes otherwise bright, with virtually fresh spines and interiors.
